MOMS Club International
Our national founder first established the MOMS Club in Simi Valley, California in 1983. From the beginning, the purpose of the club has been to provide support for mothers who choose not to work out side their homes to raise their children.
The club informs its members of activities and events by providing a monthly calendar and newsletter. As the interest of the members change, we mold and evolve to the groups needs and create appropriate events/activities.
The support we sponsor goes beyond casual and organized activities. We also provide assistance to members when a new baby arrives or when a family is in crisis or has a family emergency.
Within the MOMS Club, we have activities for the moms and our children during the day when we most need the support. We believe that having children around is a natural part of being a mother. We also understand being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so you may bring your children with you to anything we do. Also, feel free to nurse your child at our gatherings. We're all mothers, and many of us have nursed our own children.
The MOMS Club is a wonderful way for parents to meet mothers who share common interest and concerns. The vision of each local chapter is shaped by the members and changes to meet evolving interest and needs.
